Cleaning is work you do with gloves on, a vacuum running and your phone in a bag in the next room. If you clean alongside your crew, the calls that come in during the day have to wait: a regular client who needs to move a date, a family that needs a move-out clean by the end of the month, someone new asking what a deep clean includes.
Your receptionist answers them. It tells callers it's an AI, asks what they need and where, and takes down their name, number and address, along with the day they'd like the cleaning. Each request comes to you as a text, and you confirm the day when you call back. Home cleaning takes no emergency calls, so every call is taken as a message and nobody is put through.
You keep your own number. The calls you don't answer forward to your receptionist, and every message and transcript is in your portal, so a change from a regular client doesn't get lost between houses.

Emergencies
Most cleaning can wait for a call back, so every call is taken as a message and texted to you. If some of your calls can't wait, you can list your own emergencies in your profile.
Whatever your trade, a caller who mentions a gas smell or a carbon monoxide alarm is told to get out and call the gas company or 911 from outside. Smoke or fire, an electrical shock or someone hurt means calling 911 now. Either way, you get a SAFETY text right away.

Puts your emergencies straight through, during business hours or any time, as you choose
Yes, as requests. It asks what kind of cleaning they need and the day they'd like it, and their answer is a line in your text: "Wants a visit". You confirm the day when you call back. It never tells a caller they're booked, so nothing lands on a day you're already full.
What if a regular client calls to change or cancel?
It takes a message with what they'd like changed and texts it to you. It can't see your schedule, so it doesn't confirm the change itself: you do, when you call back.
Will it answer questions about what's included?
Only with what you write for it. Add answers about what a deep clean or a move-out clean covers, whether you bring supplies, or how you price a visit, and it gives them. Anything else becomes a message.
Will my clients know it's an AI?
Yes. It tells every caller at the start that it's an AI assistant and that the call is transcribed. Regular clients leave their message the same way anyone else does.
