Call forwarding

Virgin Plus missed-call forwarding.

Forward the calls you don't answer to your Call Welcome number, and your receptionist picks them up. You keep your own number. Your Call Welcome number is in your portal: on the setup page while you set up, then on your Profile page.

Where a step shows [your Call Welcome number], enter its 10 digits, with no spaces or dashes. While you set up, your setup page shows these steps with your number filled in, and can text them to you.

Virgin Plus: mobile

  1. On your phone, open the Call Settings menu and select Call Forwarding.
  2. Choose to forward the calls you don't answer, and follow the steps, entering your Call Welcome number as the number to forward to.

To turn it off: in Call Settings, select Call Forwarding, choose the type to turn off, and follow the prompts.

Note: Forwarded calls are charged like any other call, plus long distance if the Call Welcome number is long distance for you.

While this forwarding is on, the calls you don't answer go to your receptionist instead of your carrier's voicemail. Calls that come in while your phone is off or on another call may still go to voicemail. If you turn the forwarding off later, check that your voicemail answers again: some carriers need you to ask for it back.
