Call Welcome

Call forwarding

SaskTel missed-call forwarding.

Forward the calls you don't answer to your Call Welcome number, and your receptionist picks them up. You keep your own number. Your Call Welcome number is in your portal: on the setup page while you set up, then on your Profile page.

Where a step shows [your Call Welcome number], enter its 10 digits, with no spaces or dashes. While you set up, your setup page shows these steps with your number filled in, and can text them to you.

SaskTel: mobile

  1. Dial *61*[your Call Welcome number]**20# and tap the call button. Calls you don't answer forward after 20 seconds (4 rings).

To turn it off: dial ##61#.

Note: You must subscribe to SaskTel's Wireless Call Forward first.

From SaskTel's wireless call forward guide, checked October 2, 2026.

While this forwarding is on, the calls you don't answer go to your receptionist instead of your carrier's voicemail. Calls that come in while your phone is off or on another call may still go to voicemail. If you turn the forwarding off later, check that your voicemail answers again: some carriers need you to ask for it back.

SaskTel: home phone

Where these steps say “your business line”, they mean this home phone line.

  1. Call SaskTel at 1.800.SASKTEL (1.800.727.5835) and subscribe to Call Forward Don't Answer, with your Call Welcome number as the number calls forward to. SaskTel sets that number; it can't be changed from your phone.
  2. Then dial *92 from your business line to turn it on.

To turn it off: dial *93 (SaskTel still charges for the feature until you have it removed).

Note: Calls forward after 18 seconds (3 or 4 rings). To change that, dial *94, wait for the tone, and enter a number from 2 to 9.
